Lift-off distance is a physical height at which tracking stops and cannot be measured precisely by a web page.

Run the check

  1. Move across a marked surface with the mouse flat.

  2. Lift slowly with a thin spacer while moving and note when the trail stops.

  3. Repeat with the same surface and sensor setting for comparison.

Read the result

A repeatable stop point compares configurations but is not a calibrated millimeter reading.

Browser coordinates contain OS scaling and no sensor-height data.
